Privacy Policy

Effective September 3, 2026

MAV Conversions is a trade name of San Clemente Auto Rental & Sales Inc ("MAV Conversions", "we", "us"). We build and sell custom Ford F-450 and F-550 conversion trucks. This policy explains what information we collect from customers and prospective customers, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We only collect information you give us directly when you contact us about a truck build:

Your name, mobile or other phone number, and email address
What you tell us about the build you are interested in — model, configuration, options, timeline and budget
Notes from our conversations with you, so we can pick up where we left off
If you become a customer, the information needed to complete your build and your purchase

We do not buy contact lists, and we do not collect information about you from third-party lead brokers.

How we use your information

To answer your questions about a build and to give you pricing and timelines
To schedule and confirm calls and appointments
To follow up on an inquiry you started with us
To complete and support a build you have ordered
To meet our legal, tax and warranty obligations

Mobile information and SMS consent

No mobile information, phone number, or SMS consent data will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

All of the sharing categories described below exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. That information is never shared with any third party.

If you call or text us, we use your number to reply to you about your inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for assistance. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for details.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:

Service providers who operate our business on our behalf — for example our phone and messaging provider, and the software we use to keep track of customer inquiries. They may use your information only to provide that service to us.
Suppliers and installers directly involved in completing a build you have ordered, and only to the extent needed to complete it.
Lenders or financing sources, only if you ask us to help arrange financing.
Legal requirements — when we are required by law, or to protect our rights.

As stated above, mobile opt-in and SMS consent data is excluded from all of these categories and is never shared for marketing or promotional purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information for as long as we are working with you and for as long afterwards as we need it for warranty, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Security

Customer information is held in access-controlled systems available only to our staff. We do not store Social Security numbers or driver's license images on our own systems; any credit application is completed on our financing partner's secure hosted form.

Your choices

Stop text messages: reply STOP to any message from us.
Stop all contact: tell us by phone or email and we will close out your inquiry.
Access or deletion: contact us using the details below and we will honor your request as required by California law.

Children

Our business is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
